What is your business about?

I am a life and work coach helping GenX women reclaim their time and energy to shape the world they desire. Additionally, I host the podcast 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care and offer group coaching experiences like Deferred Maintenance. I am also a Fair Play Facilitator and author of The Essential Guide to 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care.

How was your life before starting your business?

I was an elementary school teacher looking for work -ife balance. I escaped the cycle of overwork and burnout through 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care while still in the classroom before my parental leave. As I improved my well-being, I noticed a positive ripple effect on my students' performance. When I felt better, they felt better. We all did better at school when we felt better. Inspired by this, during my leave of absence, I began assisting other burnt-out professionals to escape the same cycle.

What made you decide to take the leap and start your own business?

I realized I could help more students by teaching teachers, parents, and professionals how to live a more well-balanced life.

How is your life today as an entrepreneur?

My life is creative, collaborative, and enjoyable. I find fulfillment in empowering others while maintaining a rich personal life.

How has your ADHD positively influenced your business?

My creativity is endless! I am so curious about how things work that I dig deep into topics and am able to make learning fun for other people. I love getting to know new people and connecting them with what and who they need to move towards their goals.

What advice would you give other ADHD women aspiring to start a business?

Take care of yourself first—move your body, take your meds, eat well, and prioritize sleep and planning. Without your health, you can’t help others!
