What is your business about

I am a life+work coach belong GenX women get their time and energy back to create the world they want to live in. Podcast host of 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care, creator of Deferred Maintenance group coaching experience, Fair Play Facilitator. Author of The Essential Guide to 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care.

Please describe your life before starting

I was an elementary school teacher looking for work life balance. I escaped the overwork burnout cycle through 100% Guilt-Free Self-Care while I was still in the classroom before parental leave. When I felt better, my students felt better. We all did better at school when we felt better. During my leave of absence I started working with other burnt out professionals to help them get out of the cycle.

What made you decide to take the leap and start your own business?

I could help more students if I was teaching teachers, parents and professionals how to life a more well balanced life.

How would you describe your life now, as a solopreneur?

Creative, collaborative, fun. I get to help people change their lives for the better while having a lot of time and space for my own personal life.

How has your ADHD played a positive role in your business life?

My creativity is endless. I am so curious about how things work I dig deep into topics and am able to make learning fun for other people. I love getting to know new people and connecting them with what and who they need to move them towards their goals.

What's your top tip for other ADHD women aspiring to be solopreneurs

Take care of yourself first. Move your body, take your meds, feed yourself well. Prioritize sleep and planning. Without your health, you can’t help others.
