What is your business about?

Textile design and illustration for kids products.

Please describe your life before starting

I was working in the corporate work in the Business side of Fashion , working for Nike in 3 global locations I arrived to The Netherlands. (I am originally Mexican) After a reorganization of the company I decide to pursue my life dream of having a design studio since that is my original background.,

What made you decide to take the leap and start your own business?

The reorganization made me to confront the idea of continuing with Nike in another country or staying in the Netherlands because I then met my love. Then staying here meant to pursue my dreams and to be in love.,

How would you describe your life now, as a solopreneur?

Difficult and challenging at this moment, I am A mother of an 8 year old beautiful girl and I also teach at a University 3 days a week, combining all has been hard. Looking to find a way to combine it all with out becoming overwhelmed.

How has your ADHD played a positive role in your business life?

Yes definitely. Although I have been just recently officially diagnosed, Looking back ADHD has shaped me to see the world differently, take leaps of faith , and to approach things differently.

What's your top tip for other ADHD women aspiring to be solopreneurs?

Look for extra support( family, friends etc) Do not beat yourself and do what you love not what others love for you.
